Praveen Thakur is Head of the Global Delivery Organization for Envision Financial Systems. Praveen is responsible for the process improvement and delivery of Envision’s technology offerings. He operates out of its Bangalore, India location.
Praveen has extensive experience delivering software on time and on budget. During his association with Satyam Computer Services, Praveen has provided software delivery guidance and management services to such premier banking and finance institutions such as Citi Bank North America and Fiserv Lending Solutions. In addition to his work in the United States, Praveen has consulted with numerous for customers in Europe & Asia Pacific on the best practices for software delivery. Apart from working in US Mutual Fund domain, Praveen has significant work experience in US Retail Banking, US Mortgage Banking. Prior to joining Envision, Praveen has worked in responsible positions in companies such as Satyam Computer Services Ltd, Tata Steel, Quinnox Consultancy and Interra Software.
Praveen holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Production Engineering from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri, India. The Stanford Center for Professional Development certified Praveen in “Mastering the Integrated Program” as part of its Stanford Advanced Project Management” Certification Program. Praveen has held the PMP certification.
